Peace vigil for Palestine

We prayed for justice and peace in the Holy Land, in unison with the people gathered in Bethlehem this evening. 

Staying in Bethlehem

At this time of Christmas, I think about Bethlehem and look forward to my stay in Israel from 3rd Feb until 31st March. I hope to maintain this blog while I am there. 

Our Church - St John the Baptist Parish Church, Crowthorne, has commissioned a small group, including me, to draft an Action Plan in response to the Kairos Britain document, Time for Action. This will work towards justice and peace in Israel/Palestine.  

Have returned from Greenbelt determined to work for peace in Israel and Palestine. I have created a twitter account! - @KenPerrett and am following 20 organisations which work for justice and peace. @KairosBritain has issued a response to the 2009 Kairos document. The UK document is "A time for Action".  We have proposed setting up a small group to consider our Church's response to this call for action.
